About

Hello, I’m Richard Ingate.

I have a background in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Clinical Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy, Buddhism, The Three Principles, TaiJi and Taoism – and a few other bits and pieces…

I am a long term Buddhist practitioner and have lived in Malaysia as well as the UK.

This site is a reflection of my main interests, and the techniques and approaches that I have found the most useful. The overall purpose is for you to find value and help whether that is from reading an article or working with me as your coach.

What is this site about and who is it for?

Good question, here is what I wrote in answer:

‘My readers are people who want to know, need to know, what this ‘Life’ is about and how it works. If all the ‘spiritual stuff’ is true, what does that actually mean when I’m having a shi* day at work? how can I become prosperous? should I accept other people’s crap because i’m supposed to be more aware? How can I create a life that feels worth living but is so different from the 9 to 5 work prison norm?

When they leave the blog they will be actively exploring, on a journey to finding their own answers in a growing community of people who are waking up and rewriting, uncovering, discerning anew what is true now – for each of us.

I am on the same journey and finding my own answers which may well be different to your answers, and that is how I suspect it should be. We are all individual expressions of Life, walking, stumbling, dancing, putting in the work, together.
